User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061010 Firefox/2.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061010 Firefox/2.0 The theme, Aluminum Kai, has been officially adopted by me, with the permission and consent of the original author, K.Inko. Mike Morgan is aware of this and also asked me to file this bug - to ensure that the following is swiftly done. Please transfer the GUID : {a45e6b3a-725d-4b20-afde-e7486bfe317c} from the Dev Account of Kozakura Inko to my (Frank Lion) account. Thanks. Reproducible: Didn't try
I can't seem to find any themes called Aluminum Kai... Kozakura Inko has 3 themes: Modern Aluminum, Fusion Alternative and Fusion Alternative 2, none of which match that GUID. There is also a Aluminum Alloy theme, by a different author and with a different GUID. We don't have the ability to query the database by em:id from the admin control panel. Frank: Are you sure the theme was ever hosted on AMO? What's the error message you get when you try to upload? The proper method for transferring add-on ownership is for the previous developer to login to the DevCP and add your email alongside theirs in the Authors field. Morgamic?

Confirming that this GUID is not present in our database at all, unless it was added in the last 2 days.
Hi Cameron, Yes, K.Inko hosted it on Addons for at least a couple of years. A couple of months ago, he asked for it to be removed (Mike Morgan aware) and also removed it from his site. With Mike's assistance, I managed to contact him and obtain his permission to continue to develop it. Once again, Morgamic aware. One of the problems is that K.Inko's grasp of English is about as bad as mine of Japanese. If someone who speaks Japanese could make your suggestion to K.Inko then that may work. I haven't tried to upload yet, as I wanted to get this done, in case it got jammed in the system. This same GUID is needed, as there are about 1.5 mill users waiting for the upgrade of this PARTICULAR theme, so there is no point me using a different one. That was not the idea at all. I could try to upload it now, if you want (not actually ready for Review yet) but if you're not showing GUID on your system, how is that going to help all the existing users of it? Frank.
Frank, try uploading it first and if you get to the second step you should be fine. You don't have to do the final submission until you're ready but we can at least check to see if it runs into the duplicate GUID error or not. :)

I try just uploading the original trunk jar now.
Went through OK - I put 'DO NOT REVIEW - THIS IS A TEST (MORGAMIC AWARE)' on the Version and Reviewers notes. Just so I'm clear on this, when an existing AK user looks for updates, will this GUID now be recognised by your system and update them?
Yes, once a version is approved, users will get updates from your GUID. Please delete your version in the developer control panel by clicking on the version and clicking delete if you do not want it to be reviewed.
