Two individual message have got corrupted or something similar,
Most recent example turned the following block into the second block

that all appares as in the body in Thunderbird 

Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce

Steps to Reproduce:
This has happened multiple times and appares to be perminat. So that once a message has got corrupted it stays corrupted.



I know this will be a pain to track down, if you require file off my machine ask and with an assurance of privacy I will be willing to send you my mail box. Aprox 200 meg :(.

There is data loss here.

Where are you seeing this?  Is it just the TB UI or do you also see it the mbox file on the server or local folders?  Was this just a one time deal or is it still happening today?  What antivirus software do you run?

Sorry for the slow reply, this happend serveal times over the period of a few weeks. It has not occured for a period of over a month and I have deleted the messages that demonstrated this bug so I can no longer determin if it was UI or local folders ( this was occuring on a remote pop3 account but appared to be occuring localy not as an artiface of the pop3 server as I would recive and read the message fine only to have it corrupt latter).

This problem was persestant accross restart of TB and reboots of the computer, so that would point me in the direction of it being a problem with the mail store not the UI, unless the UI was freking out on the same data each time.

Sorry missed a point, I don't have any virus softwear running. I'm pretty sure I don't have a virus. my machine is very firewalled, I don't browse in IE, I'm careful about what I download, and I don't have dataloss in any other application.
