I managed to overcome the bug after much exploring in the software files (don't ask how!). To day, I have an indication of 1 message in the draft box, but there is nothing in it as the message was sent several days ago...in fact there was 2 draft messages, sent at the same time, and one became a ghost... M.Bertrand Reproducible: Didn't try Actual Results: can't reproduxce it as I don't know why it happens I use a Toshiba laptop

Does (right click) compact the folder help? If not, does deleting the .msf file for the folder (find it in you profile folder. <http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder>)

Hi, I've not posted on here before so apologies if this is not the correct way to add comments. There is a message thread on Support talking about this issue that seems to be affecting quite a few of us users. http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=487248 Good luck resolving, Rob
