Don: Can you please give explicit examples of pages where this happens? WFM (Firefox 2.0 ID:2006101023 WinXP sp2). Some external links are attributed with target="_blank", some aren't. Generally expected behaviour seen.
The same thing happens on all other sites I've visited like EBay.
WFM. Can you please try using firefox with a clean profile, or give us some detailed link-by-link instructions on what to click on.
Steps to Reproduce: 1.go to any page or URL from Firefox with a link(s) 2.open link(s) 3.the back button to the original page or URL is not on 4. when closing the page of the 1st link there is nothing there 5.reboot original page Expected Results: Firefox should retain 1st page or URL via back button after opening 1st link
After following your directions, it still works for me.
Open Firefox open Caranddriver.com Pull down Reviews and Road test to click on Comparison tests Click on back button Caranddriver.com has disappeared
Found a change in Firefox preferences that solved problem.
As per last WFM messages and lacking further details -> WFM.
