Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. hit 'open web location' 2. try to type something (www.apple.com) 3. Actual Results: Nothing-You're forced to click on the text box, and then type in your junk. Expected Results: text should have appeared in text box.

Same problem with "Find in page" popup box (Alt-F on PC/Linux), also "Open File" and maybe others.
Confirmed in the 2000-04-16-16-M16 and 2000-04-06-10-M15 nightly binaries on WinNT. This works fine with the M14 release. Marking Platform/OS as All/All. This is the same problem seen in bug 25271, "Find on this page dialog does not open with focus in the find text field", VERIFIED FIXED 2000-02-16, by way of bug 27645, "text entry dialogs require mouseclick on text field before typing". The problem has come back. Reopen bug 25271, or keep going here?

This works on my Mac build from tonight 5/8
Also works correctly with the 2000-05-08-08-M16 and 2000-05-08-20-M16 nightly binaries on WinNT; this is likely w.f.m. at this point.
