User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.8) Gecko/20061025 Firefox/1.5.0.8
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.8) Gecko/20061025 Firefox/1.5.0.8

Since installing the latest firefox, my yahoo emails (new and old) are blank and cannot be deleted.

Reproducible: Always

I can read & delete the emails if I switch back to IE
Have you tried:

- Firefox's safe-mode to exclude extension problems
- a reinstall in a new empty directory
- a new profile?

In order to really help this matter more information is required,I went into my yahoo email and this is no problem.Try seeing if anything is wrong with your machine such as do you have all plug ins installed or are you missing one,Is your computer it self running properly.
The problem started with the latest install of firefox. Everything else is working fine.
There is an older bug filed for this, I'm making this a duplicate of that bug.

This bug should have been left open, since bug 359517 is related to /composing/ mail not reading it. Fixing my error.

I can confirm a similar intermittent problem when using Firefox 2.0 to read
Yahoo web mail messages that contain HTML graphics. In some cases, the
message bodies appear blank, even though the message headers and Yahoo
banners/ads appear normal, and even though the HTML for the message body
appears in View Source or in the text file that results from saving the
message. One difference I have from the above report is that I can reply to
a message showing this problem (at least, it worked once with the default
message composition set to Plain Text); I haven't tried to delete one, but
since Firefox displays the Yahoo Delete button, I assume (not entirely safely)
that this would also work.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20061204 Firefox/2.0.0.1

Firefox 1.5.0.7 running on Windows NT 4.0 SP6a (one of the computers that I
also have Firefox 2.0 on) displays Yahoo message bodies normally (not sure if
this is a regression issue or if Yahoo changed something in the meantime); I
also did not see this problem with Firefox 1.5.0.7 running on Windows XP on
another computer that I have seen this on.

Procedure to reproduce
----------------------

1. Log onto Yahoo mail.
2. Display a message that contains HTML graphics.
3. Instruct Yahoo to display HTML graphics (if you have this turned off by
    default).
4. View the page source for the message, or save it as a text file (use
Firefox Save As...Text File, not Yahoo's facility to download the message) and
then use a text editor to inspect the text file. Alternatively, reply to the
message (known to work at least once if the message composition default is
Plain Text; not tested with message composition default HTML).

Expected result: message headers and body are visible, as expected from the
page source or text file or the reply.

Actual result: In some cases, the message body is replaced with a blank space
of approximately the vertical size expected for the message body, even though
the message body text is visible in View Source, the text file, or (as quoted
text) in the reply window.

Not tested: Windows 95, Windows 2000, MacOS, Linux, etc.

I still haven't figured out fully what causes some messages to have this
problem and others not to have this problem, except that it seems to depend
upon the message having HTML graphics (and probably something else).

In similar bug 361083, turning off NoScript (actually allowing global
JavaScript) was reported to fix the problem, so next time any of us has this
problem, let's try turning off NoScript and see if it enables the message
content to reappear (I will report back after I get a message that has this
problem).
According to the Mozilla Support Forum (which shows that this problem is VERY widespread), and my experience also, this header only, blank email text body problem started about 7/2, perhaps with an auto update of FF2. In addition to the no message text issue, I discovered that the Delete, Reply, Forward, Spam & Move buttons were inoperative (when clicked, the buttons seem to actuate, that is, the single line overlay rectangle appears, but then nothing happens. After a couple of no email days, I opted to install FF3 thinking that might solve the problem. it didn't. Based on comments here, I opened FF3 in Safe Mode (no addons) and this solved both the blank email and the nonoperating buttons problems on my PC (WinXP SP2, IE6). I don't want to spend the rest of my life in Safe Mode, but according to this Bugzilla page, nobody is officially working on a fix for this problem. How do we get this to happen? And do we get notified when it does -- other than a auto update patch arrives?
can you still reproduce?
