User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061010 Firefox/2.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061010 Firefox/2.0 When the browser window already load, it takes a visible amount of time to load the bookmarks (at least for the ones in the bookmarks/personal toolbar). Clicking after the loading of browser window and before the loading of the bookmarks in the bookmark/personal toolbar will hang the browser. The bookmarks in the bookmarks toolbar will never be loaded, and the whole applicatino will stop. The windows task bar and other stuff on desktop will also become un-clickable unless you alt-tab and switch to another application. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open browser. 2. Once you see the window and before the bookmarks in bookmarks toolbar finish loading, click on.. for example, the location bar. Actual Results: Hanged. Expected Results: Successfully load.
WFM with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061010 Firefox/2.0 Makes no difference when, where and how many times I click before the bookmarks are loaded. Have you tried: - Firefox's safe-mode to exclude extension problems - a reinstall in a new empty directory - a new profile?
