The correct URL for manual update is http://www.mozilla.org/download.html. Although there should be a download button on . . ./firefox, there isn't.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open Software update failure window
2. click on link for manual download
3.

Actual Results:  
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ is descriptive, no download and no way to get to one.

It's not clear to me what UI you are talking about, or how you cause it to appear.

andrew, do you see your reported problem still in recent release like Firefox 2.0.0.4 ?
