If a plugin is required for a certain type of media and the dialog box that offers the plugin appears, attempts to choose "Get the plug-in" causes the attempt to be blocked by the popup blocker, and the site from which popups must be allowed in order for the process to work correctly is the one that contains said media.

For example, let's say that xyz.com contains flash media, but the flash plugin is not installed. In the flash content's place, the white "Click here to get the plugin" box will appear. Clicking the box will cause the dialog box to appear that names the MIME-type, displays the link to the site where the plugin can be downloaded (in this case the Flash page on Adobe's site), and offers to take the user to the aforementioned page. Clicking "Get the plug-in" on the dialog box, however, will be blocked as a popup from xyz.com, and the only way to actually use the dialog box to get to Adobe's Flash page is to allow popups from xyz.com.

Actual Results:  
Choosing "Get the plug-in" on the Plug-in Not Loaded dialog box causes the page that should be displayed to get blocked as a popup from the site that contains the media for which the plug-in is needed.

Expected Results:  
The site that the Plug-in Not Loaded dialog box directs to should be loaded by the application itself so as to circumvent the popup blocker.

INCOMPLETE (no reply to comment #2 after almost two years). Also moving to Core::Plug-Ins.

Feel free to reopen if seen, with comment saying in which version of SeaMonkey (2.0.4 or later), Firefox (3.5.9 or later) etc.
