Refreshing a page with an embedded audio file on Mac OS X causes a spinning beach ball cursor, the system slows down and the browser becomes unresponsive and the process needs to be killed.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Visit page
2. Make sure audio is not muted
3. Refresh page
Actual Results:
Rereshing a page with an embedded audio file on Mac OS X causes a spinning beach ball cursor, the system slows down and the browser becomes unresponsive and the process needs to be killed.
Expected Results:
Page reloads, audio resets to beginning of track and plays again.
If the audio is muted in Mac OS X refreshing the page works fine.
The VLC PowerPC mozilla/safari plugin package from
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-macosx.html is installed.

Reporter, do you still see this problem with the latest Firefox 2? If not, can you please close this bug as WORKSFORME. Thanks!
With the latest versions of Firefox and VLC on Intel Mac this bug is no longer present.
