User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-GB; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061010 Firefox/2.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-GB; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061010 Firefox/2.0 On loading the page referenced in the URL field of this report, the application ceases responding to keystrokes or an attempted close of the window, the window will not redraw, and it will only respond to a kill signal. It occurs on completely fresh instances of the browser, and on long running instances. I have no non-standard extensions to the best of my knowledge. My only slightly unusual preference setting is that the cache is set to 0 MB. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Use the version of Firefox referenced in the User-Agent field. Run Firefox, visit the URL referenced in the URL field of this report. Actual Results: Total application freeze as detailed above Expected Results: Expected; the application does not freeze, and instead renders the page.
WFM on Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061010 Firefox/2.0 Though it has put 253Mb into the X server (and also taken >150 for itself). Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20061113 Minefield/3.0a1 But I didn't wait for all the pictures to load.
(In reply to comment #1) Annoyingly, I found later that I couldn't reproduce it, despite repeated testing with the same browser. I guess that's what I get for submitting an example URL that's a regularly updated forum page, sorry ;-). I've seen this kind of bug on static pages though, and I'll try to update this report with a more suitable example URL when I find it.
