It is common and possible to mark/select text (for example to copy it and paste it somewhere else) in the browser-window displaying an html-file by mouse and/or keyboard (shift+arrows) ...

But unfortunately it is not possible to select just a column of a table, which would be very very good.

You can do this by Ctrl+clicking the top cell in the column, then Ctrl+Shift+clicking the bottom cell of the column.  (Cmd instead of Ctrl on Mac.)

Only problem: the linebreak is missing after every cell-entry
