If you open a new compose window and the mail toolbar is on, there is no check next to View -> Toolbars -> Mail Toolbar

If you choose the menu option, the mail toolbar still disappears as it is supposed to.  If you choose it again, the mail toolbar comes back and the checkmark appears properly.

I only managed to make this happen on the first compose window where I noticed it.  I haven't been able to make it happen again by simply opening new windows.

I have been completely unable to reproduce this so this may actually be a problem caused by using a configuration set from Thunderbird 1.5.0.5 in 3.0a1.

HTML compose window for the purposes of the icons on the top.

This seems to work although I should point out that I was never reliably able to reproduce the problem the first time.  I suspect it may only have happened when opening a profile in 3.0 that was last written with 1.5.
