I have to copy and paste it into my browser to make it function now. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.URL appears in message [e.g. www.mozilla.org] 2.Double left clicking on the URL has no effect 3. Expected Results: That the selected URL would appear in my browser [Firefox]
Try un-setting and the re-setting firefox as default browser. Does that help?

if anyone still see this problem using a current version please comment with your version number and steps to reproduce. if you no longer see the problem, please cite your version and close the bug or comment

I have the same behaviour, i.e. http(s) urls not working version: version 3.0a2 (2008072822) [OSX]

I'm sorry, i did indeed try resetting FF as my default browser. It did not help. Additional info: - https URI's work fine, just http does not

The problem was extraneous entries in mimeTypes.rdf I think it's safe to delete it, and it will be recreated. One warning though (save a copyit safely somewhere first) And you will have to re-establish your attachment opening prefs again. mimeTypes.rdf is located in your profile diectory.
