User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20060607 Debian/1.7.12-1.2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20060607 Debian/1.7.12-1.2 It might have trouble handeling the ` character. Browser just freezes and eventually linux will force you to kill the process. it happens if you type it in as soon as the browser has loaded. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. load mozilla 2. type in http://www.goo` 3. get naked! Actual Results: browser freezes immediately, if there is a drop down box then it will freeze too. Expected Results: not entirely sure i cant imagine anyone actually wanting to type it in to do anything useful. i did it by accident and it killed my browser session. I tried to play the "beale or no beal" game on the eastenders website, mozilla did not like it, but i left the broken window open and played the jam buster game. after a few highly intense jam busting soirees i tried to do a google search and somehow accidentally typed the fateful ` character in by accident
Does the bug also occur in the official SeaMonkey 1.0.6 build? http://download.mozilla.org/?product=seamonkey-1.0.6&os=linux&lang=en-US

OK... please report the problem to Debian then. Mozilla 1.7.x is no longer supported.
