Under cocoa-cairo there is no font name listed in "Default Font" popup in content prefs. The popup is just empty. It works just fine under cocoa-quickdraw (the font name shows up).
This looks like it is a problem with mac thebes font code. Maybe related to this warning which shows up quite a lot when running cocoa-cairo builds: WARNING: empty langgroup: file /Users/josh/src/mozilla/ff_cairo/mozilla/gfx/thebes/src/gfxFont.cpp, line 250
