add a perl script $MOZ_SRC/js/tamarin/test/runtests.pl to run the compliance we still have to upload the .abc files for the compiled test media since we do not have a working compiler. tests should show 100% passing. will add notes to wiki, basic usage: export AVM=<to avmplus executable e.g. on Windows> $ export AVM=$MOZ_SRC/js/tamarin/platform/win32/obj_8/shell/Release/avmplus.exe $ cd $MOZ_SRC/js/tamarin/test $ perl ./runtests (takes 3 minutes when using ActiveState perl and Release avmplus.exe, can take 30 minutes when using Debug avmplus.exe) ... Test time: 3 minutes 49 seconds passes : 54749 failures: 0

Dan, we should probably put these notes in the public wiki at http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Tamarin_Build_Documentation ... the link you posted will only work for the Tamarin contributors who happen to be Adobe employees, as it's behind the firewall :-)
I updated the tamarin wiki on http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Tamarin_Build_Documentation with notes on running the test suite. I have been waiting for access to upload tamarin-test-abcs.tar.gz to ftp.mozilla.org under a tamarin directory. anyone? Users can untar the file in the js/tamarin/test directory then run the test suite. This restriction will be lifted when we have a working compiler.
