Deleting folders in the Bookmarks is incredibly slow

Details
Deleting folders in the Bookmarks is incredibly slow even on a PIII 450
with 128 MB.
It seems the problem also exists with sites entries too.

kfir.shay@cornell.edu, your report would be much more useful with two pieces of
information:
1. The Build ID of the Mozilla build you were testing. It appears in the bottom
right corner of the browser window and will looks something like 2000041708.
2. Specific details: please state how long it takes in seconds to delete one of
the standard bookmark folders on the bookmarks menu.
Please add a comment with these specifics. Thanks.
Using the 2000-04-17-08-M16 nightly binary on WinNT, deleting the Directories
folder was not snappy, but took less than 1 second.
