When Thunderbird checking post automatically (on timeout) 
it doesn't show new messages.
But sound (new message arrived) plays.
When I check post again - everything all right.

Reproducible: Always




Thunderbird version - 1.5.0.7

I've upgraded 1.5.0.7 to 1.5.0.8.
Nothing changed.

I don't understand - are you saying the new messages show up the second time on the timer? Or you manually click get new messages and the messages show up?

I click manually.
Then sound plays again and everything is ok.

don't recall ever noticing messages not showing up after notification on timed fetch, so wfm per comment 4
