User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.8) Gecko/20061025 Firefox/1.5.0.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.8) Gecko/20061025 Firefox/1.5.0.8 IMHO The Home Page button in the navigation toolbar should display the .ico icon of the site. This would be consistent with the icons in the bookmark toolbar showing the site icon when available. Reproducible: Always
Seems like a sensible request.

Wouldn't that give style problems?
What about when you have multiple sites set as your homepage?
@RIA - If I was the architect on this I would load in the site icon and center it vertically and horizontally in the home page button content area. Then I would load in the Firefox home icon (using a png file) on top of it. This would cover up the site icon if it is opaque. If all or parts of the home icon are not opaque the site icon will show through. Maybe having two home icons (one that is the default as it is now and the other that is transparent and in options or about:config they can choose between the two). But it doesnt have to be this way. @steve - I don't know. It would be up to whoever designs it. If it was me I would stack or tile the first three. Each image offset by one or two pixels from the top and left.
