User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20060601 Firefox/2.0 (Ubuntu-edgy) Build Identifier: version 1.5.0.8 (20061115) It would be nice to be able to build a filter in Thunderbird that pipes e-mail through a command line utility such as SpamAssassin and can take action on the result. Similar features exist in KMail and Evolution, which enable truly dynamic user-defined filters. Command line programs could take other actions, too, such as announce the message through a text-to-speech engine. This simple enhancement could open a lot of doors for customized mail handling. Reproducible: Always
