If you are installing Testopia on Windows, you need to
install patch.exe into testopia/tools.

It is available here:

Dear Vance,

thanks for the link and for the reference. After several tries I changed to a stable Version. I downloaded now the Testrunner V0.7 and installed the patch-2.5.9-6.exe. By trying to run "tr_install.pl" on cmd line i got following message. I´ve also adapted the Perl referecenes by the *.pl and *.cgi files.
Can you call me a Version of Testrunner (testopia) with a patch which 100% works on a Windows XP machine?

Now installing Test Runner ...

No suitable patch detected for your Bugzilla. Patch cannot continue.
Still, there is a chance that a manual patch might work on your installation.
ease, check out Test Runner's installation manual for details.

I think you'd have the best luck with the cvs tip and bugzilla 2.22. There's a script at http://lxr.mozilla.org/webtools/source/testopia/testopia/scripts/cvs_update.sh?raw=1
that might be useful to you. It's written for UNIX/Linux, but if you have MKS Toolkit or cygwin it should work. Or, you could port the script to Windows and attach it here. :-)

After you've done the cvs_update.sh thing, you need to do this:
    cd bugzilla_root/testopia
    svn co http://svn.dojotoolkit.org/dojo/trunk dojo

We have no Windows machines here to test with, so we can't be too much help with that OS.
I'm closing this bug, because it's reporting that testrunner 0.7 doesn't work with bugzilla 2.22. We know this, and we're not going to fix that.

If you need further help, please use support-webtools@lists.mozilla.org or irc://irc.mozilla.org/testopia

Bugzilla is not designed as a support tool. :-)
