I'm already using the latest version of flash 9: 9.0.28.0.
Comment#0 shows version 9.0.16.0. What version does about:plugins display for you? It shows the version in this form: 9.0 r28.

When I test flash player version (http://www.adobe.com/es/support/flashplayer/ts/documents/tn_15507.htm) I get three different versions: - Firefox : 9.0.16.0 (but "about:plugins" shows Shockwave Flash 8.0 r22 !) - Internet Explorer : 9.0.28.0 - Opera : 8.0.22.0 I was wrong thinking that 9.0.28.0 was the same on each browser. Sorry about the confusion. So now my doubt is: ¿Do have I "8.0.22.0" or "9.0.16.0" version installed in Firefox?
Is flash listed twice in about:plugins? Perhaps different versions of the flash plugin reside in different places on your system. The flash version in Internet Explorer will always be separate from the flash version in Firefox because IE uses the ActiveX version of the plugin while Firefox and Opera will use the Netscape plugin version. There is a separate installer for the ActiveX version of flash and the Netscape plugin version.
I used the Adobe Flash Player uninstaller and now I've got 9.0.28.0 version installed in Firefox, Opera and Internet Explorer. If application error comes back I'll add comments here. THX 4 assistance.
