When running SeaMonkey from the windows debugger and loading a simple flash file, multiple access violations occur in FULLSOFT.DLL (silently when running out of the debugger)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start SeaMonkey
2. Go to http://olivier.vit.free.fr/testcase%20memleak/testcase.swf
3.

Actual Results:
See the attached tracefile
(It seems that MS doesn't provide the proper updated symbols for win 2000 French)

correction, bug 326273 checkin, 2006-05-10
attn Adobe
Oliver.
does this happen with builds prior to bug 326273 checkin, 2006-05-10?

Wayne

I've created a clean win2K English VMWare image in the hope of getting the proper symbols to debug this more properly.
But I'm afraid that when I run Seamonkey within that image, I don't get these exceptions with the exact same build, nor with more recent builds, while they still occur in my environment.

I don't know what should be concluded of this.
Is my environment the only one to produce these assertions ? Can this really happen in Windows ?

Last, running within this image, I observe the Flash memory leak described in bug 342810
I can share this image if someone is interested

This Dll was part of (the external component) Talkback, which is not used anymore.

But your summary/report is unclear as whether the bug was triggered by WinDbg or not.

Did the fix for that bug solve your issue ?

***

SeaMonkey v1.5a is not "supported" anymore.

Reopen if you can reproduce with SeaMonkey v2.0a1pre.
