User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; ru; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061010 Firefox/2.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; ru; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061010 Firefox/2.0 The browser does not remember the setting for language encoding. When i ever i change it once it works-- once i move to the next page the setting gets reset to Eastern European(ISO-8859-1) settings. i tried deleting it from the List of preferable encoding-- but once again it comes back. This usually happens when i veiw yahoo mail. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.view russian page(select the proper encoding for it) 2.move to different page that does or does not have the same encoding. 3.move back to any russian site. Actual Results: N/A Expected Results: N/A (proper encoding)

Reporter, do you still see this problem with the latest Firefox 2? If not, can you please close this bug as WORKSFORME. Thanks!

Alexander, does this problem also occur in a recent Firefox trunk build? http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk/
Yahoo!Mail (where the problem has occurred the most) have changed their interface, so I cannot say if it was fixed with in the Firefox, or the Y!Mail. So will say the issue is closed for now. Thank you.
