When you see this, does the problem occur for all destination folders? (Create a new folder to test this.) Is the destination folder top-level or a subfolder? Does the problem occur for all source items in all feeds?
Does Message | Move work where drag doesn't?
If you're using 2b1, what happens if you rebuild the index for the destination folder? (right-click on folder | Properties) -- can you then successfully drag to the folder?
I've seen a similar problem that I can't nail down where I couldn't drag a message from one mail account to a folder in another, but then can drag the same message to another folder in the same destination account. I haven't been able to reproduce this, tho, and I'm not sure whether I've forgotten which folder wasn't working, or if the problem was specific to a source message, or if I rebuilt the index and that fixed it.

Why not? RSS items are formatted just the same as an email message. This is supposed to be possible -- and at the moment, I'm not having a problem.

both

yes (if i create a "new folder" under local folder and drop it there it's also deleted.
> is show article summary in the
> subscription protestiert checked or unchecked?
strike: happens only with summaries, full pages are copied (didn't test that before).
> do you also see this with a trunk build?
it happens in v2.0 beta 1, didn't try with v3

I didn't intend to confirm this, but it can't be undone.
copy summaries is also WFM.
shouldn't matter, but what are the RSS feed URLs?
argl! i found it: the global default was to delete stuff older than 3 days, new folders also took that default. of course i tested with mostly old stuff.
still raises the question if would be useful to show a warning when old stuff is put into a folder which would immediately delete it. because when i move some stuff around and not in the trash, it's probably save to assume that the user want's to keep it (and there is no way to rescue the stuff from the trash because it doesn't show there (which is probably a feature)).
