After the latest update, half my bookmarks disappeared.

That problem may be like this one, I'll try reloading Firefox and see. I was letting FF do its automatic update and it did shutdown but maybe something went wrong in the process as it was after that that my bookmarks disappeared. Thanks!
kara, did the steps from the bug or  http://kb.mozillazine.org/Toolbar_customizations_reset_on_startup bring you the bookmarks back ?
