background colors of a table cell are used at the top of this page to draw horizontal stripes. In mozilla, the rows are too tall, so the intended effect doesn't work. See Nav4 or IE for a comparison.

oddly, the same effect does seem to work on http://java.sun.com/ comparing the two might be useful. we could really use a minimized test case for this one.

The stripes at both URLs look exactly the same on my Linux build 2000.04.19.08.

Hm, I'm still seeing this on 2000.05.13.08. buster, what about you?
seems ok to me now. I looked at several sun sites with the same header, and they all looked fine.
