364259 - shortcuts won't stay in firefox

I drag the website to the desktop and usually they stay with a firefox logo and open in firefox. Now they all are in Internat explorer "E". I tried to reinstall firefox again and it still goes to internet explorer. I annotated that I wanted firefox as my default web broser but it doesn't help.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.obtain website in firefox
2.drag to desktop and click to enter on desktop
3.Is entered with internet explorer logo instead of firefox logo

Actual Results:  
I have always been able to do this and now all of a sudden it doesn't work

The Firefox version you're using is very old. Please retest with Firefox 2.0 and a new profile.
If it still doesn't work the people on the Mozillazine forums can probably help you.

Reporter, if you still see this problem with the latest Firefox 2 please reopen this bug. Thanks!
