User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.23; Mac_PowerPC) Build Identifier: firefox-2.0 (Mac OS X) checksum error - image file won't open. Reproducible: Always
Phillip, is this still a problem with the latest Firefox 2.0.0.2 Release ?
OS: Other → Mac OS X
Version: unspecified → 2.0 Branch
from a mail from the reporter: It seems intermittent, Carsten. Sometimes when I first open FF 2.0, it first asks me whether I want to open a new session or restart a previous session, but not always. Sometimes it asks me whether I want to save a session in particular file folder which it has already opened. I found a remnant of SpyDawn on my PC after supposedly removing it about four days ago. Odd. So, that's it. Until I installed FF 2.01. I never experienced those anomalies.
Works for me with Firefox 2.0.0.14 and Firefox 3 Beta 5 on Mac 10.5 Phillip: can you try again to download Firefox 2.0.0.14 from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html ?
This bug was originally reported on Firefox 2.x or older, which is no longer supported and will not be receiving any more updates. I strongly suggest that you update to Firefox 3.6.8 or later, update your plugins (flash, adobe, etc.), and retest in a new profile. If you still see the issue with the updated Firefox, please post here. Otherwise, please close as RESOLVED > WORKSFORME http://www.mozilla.com http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+mode
