Whenever I start firefox I right-click and uncheck (hide) the bookmarks toolbar as it is blank (regardless of my bookmarks) and I don't want it cluttering the screen. But if I close firefox it forgets which toolbars were visible. Open and there it is again. Annoying.

Probably more critical (but less frequent) is that clicking bookmark -> bookmark-this-page does not work. The dialog box comes up, suggests a name, shows the folder, but clicking OK doesn't do anything, it just stays up. Then when I check bookmarks the new bookmark doesn't work (I just tried it again with this page)

Firefox 1.5 didn't have any of these issues. What's happened?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. As listed above, both of these bugs are 100% available. I'd happily send you some screenshots if you want confirmation.
2.
3.

I've listed this as a major feature in that I'm guessing lots of people use bookmarks more frequently than I do and it must really bug them (if you'll excuse the pun)
