Ever since the upgrade to current version, my bookmarks will not add a new bookmark nor can old bookmarks be deleted. I've used uninstall, rebooted, deleted EVERY reference to mozilla and firefox, rebooted, then run cc-cleaner for all remaining instances, rebooted, then run reg-cleaner, then rebooted, then defraged, then rebooted, re-installed and run, the bookmarks somehow remain on the computer waiting for a re-install. I've tried to install older versions of firefox, once booted, the file becomes firefox v.2 on the spot and the bookmarks are STILL there, even though deleted on many levels well after emptying the recycle bin. I have gone through the above proceedure and changed order to vary, a total of 412 times with NO success. I must now abandon Firefox as this browser now presents a significant security risk and I access DOD systems from my computer. Please advise further.

Actual Results:  
Read narritive, I am frustrated.

Expected Results:  
I expected a fresh install without the old bookmarks coming back.

It should have installed FRESH without the problem remaining. I am still unable to add a single bookmark.
