User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows 98; ru) Opera 9.10 Build Identifier: http://ftp-mozilla.netscape.com/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/releases/1.5.0.9/win32/ru/Thunderbird%20Setup%201.5.0.9.exe In previous versions, when some word was rounded by underlines ("_some text_"), then viewer was underline this rounded text. Now, in 1.5.0.9 I no more see this feature. What happen? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
You mean in incoming mail? Seems the same over here... You can check your settings, in the Config editor, look for prefs named "struct"...

Structured text has minimal recognition. The pattern all needs to be on the same line (same line in source, which may not be the same as the lines displayed if the message is format=flowed); and the pattern needs to be: <space|punctuation>_[a-z] ... [a-z]_<space|punctuation> or something like that. So _this0_ won't be underlined, nor will _this_x nor _this*_, nor _этот_ -- it's not very reliable.
> or something like that. So _this0_ won't be underlined, nor will _this_x nor > _this*_, nor _этот_ -- it's not very reliable. I send myself letter with next lines: this is _test_ this is /test/ this is *test* In both Sent and Inbox folders only second and third lines are processed (applied italic and bold).
_test_ works fine for me.
You correct - I switch from Walnut theme to default theme and underline reappear. Looks like something was broken in TB API, and this causes problems with Walnut. I try to contact Walnut author. Should I mark given report "invalid"?
Invalid seems right to me.
