Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20061204 Firefox/2.0.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20061204 Firefox/2.0.0.1 When a FireFox window is moved to the secondary screen after plugging in a second monitor, clicking on toolbar and bookmarks toolbar menus causes them to be drawn in the primary screen. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start Firefox on a single display (aka monitor/screen) Mac (for example a MacBook Pro). Call this display #1 2. Plus in a second large display (display #2) into the Mac or MacBook where the second display is set to be the main display having the system menu. 3. Now move a FireFox window to the display #1 (which is not the secondary display and does not have the OS menu) 4. Click on any toolbar or bookmarks bar menu item Actual Results: The popup menu appears floating on the main display Expected Results: The popup menu should appear right under the clicked menu item as it normally does when no second display has been added. A workaround is to restart FireFox AFTER a second display has been plugged into the Mac. Then the menus work as normal. I am guessing that FireFox needs to perform some internal task when a change to the display configuration is performed while the FireFox app is running.
