Localized trunk tinderbox builds are the repackaged December 18th builds. For example, Firefox this file: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/tinderbox/latest-trunk-l10n/firefox-3.0a2pre.pl.linux-i686.tar.bz2 identifies itself as: "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; pl; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/2006121804 Minefield/3.0a1" The localization files are up-to-date, though.

Patch checked in. Marek, please verify the BuildID is fixed after the next crop of nightlies.

I followed up with a patch for Thunderbird on the 1.8.0 branch, so that should mean both apps on all three branches follow the version automatically.

Another couple of follow ups set the builds below to use nightly rather than hourly builds for their repacks: Firefox/MacOSX/Trunk Thunderbird/MacOSX/Trunk Thunderbird/Linux/Trunk This brings them into line with what's already happening on the 1.8 and 1.8.0 branches.

(In reply to comment #4) > Another couple of follow ups set the builds below to use nightly rather than > hourly builds for their repacks: Why? Shouldn't the tinderbox l10n builds be repacked tinderbox builds?

One reason is that it ensures that the repacking continues to work independent of which tinderbox is actually making the builds. Also, it seems more useful (to me anyway, as a non-localiser) to have a fixed en-US build for a day to keep your locale up to date against, rather than be fighting something that changes during the day. For eg, you can relatively easily figure out the time window for checkins for a nightly. A discussion about this would probably be better held on a newsgroup.

(In reply to comment #2) > Marek, please verify the BuildID is fixed after the next crop of nightlies. The latest tinderbox build identifies as: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; pl; rv:1.9a2pre) Gecko/20070103 Minefield/3.0a2pre Marking verified.
