1) open sidebar in browser
2) click the customize button
3) notice that the save and cancel buttons are not positioned properly for a
Macintosh. Also, shortcut keys don't work for dismissing via Save or Cancel.
(Why is this "save" instead of "OK"? Is it really any different than say, the
preference window?)

I have a similar problem under linux. (Latest nightly build.) I had removed
everything from my sidebar at some point and now I can't get it back using the
customize dialog. (See the screenshot I attached.) However, the Save and Cancel
buttons are active for me.

I made the customize dialog button work the same way as the prefs dialog.
Marking fixed.
