Details

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a2pre) Gecko/20061226 SeaMonkey/1.5a My WinXP box is configured to play a sound for window sizing actions such as minimize, maximize, restore. Whenever I do any of those actions on any window I hear the associated sound ... except for minimizing SeaMonkey. When I minimize a SM window, I hear no sound. This is only an issue with SM. All other application windows make the sounds normally. It is only an issue for minimize. Maximize and restore play the sounds normally, but minimize does not. This affects all SM windows, e.g. browser, mailnews, etc. This may seem minor but I find it really annoying. Every time it happens, I think to myself that the speakers have become unplugged (again) or some other problem, but actually they're fine, and it's just a SM issue.
This is bug 295355, for which a patch is available (and reviewed) but not yet checked in.
I agree.
