User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i586; en-US; rv:1.8.0.10pre) Gecko/20061229 SeaMonkey/1.0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i586; en-US; rv:1.8.0.10pre) Gecko/20061229 SeaMonkey/1.0.7 The graphic that slides up the lower right corner of the browser window when new mail is available, does not appear. The only "alert" that appears is the small green arrow that appears next to the envelope at the lower oeft of the browser window. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.System waits to check for mail. 2.New mail is available. 3.Graphic indicating new mail does not appear at lower right corner of browser window. Actual Results: Graphic indicating new mail does not appear at lower right corner of browser window. Expected Results: Graphic should have appeared when new mail is available. Only appears to affect Linux release of SM 1.1 candidate (12/29/2006), this works fine with the Windows release.
(correcting information) Occurs with Linux release of 1.0.7 (12/29/2006).
This has been implemented for Thunderbird at bug 332160; I don't know if it's also in place for Seamonkey, or if it would be simple to port it.
It should be working in sm since in bug 332160 we just made use of the work that was already in place for seamonkey.
In the 1.1 release candidates, this has been working perfectly.
OK, then, duping.
