RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 315278

People

(Reporter: benji, Unassigned)

Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20061204 Firefox/2.0.0.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20061204 Firefox/2.0.0.1

With a near-full disk I started Firefox, it informed me that it was installing updates. The dialog disappeared (don't recall if the progress bar made it to the end or not) but FF didn't start. Clicking the quick launch icon generated an error dialog stating that the application (gave full path) was not a valid executable (re-installed before grabbing a screenshot of dialog, so don't have exact message).

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Get disk nearly full
2. Start FF with pending update installation.

Expected Results:
Report error, not lobotomize itself
This is basically bug 315278 I think. See https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=315278#c1
