I think a much-needed feature in Thunderbird is the ability to reorder folders (and accounts, though this could be done separately in the Account Settings window) in the folder pane. This should be possible and distinct for each folder view (All Folders, Unread Folders, Favorite Folders, and Recent Folders). Drag and drop would be easiest for end-users.

I would not consider this a duplicate of bug 244347 because that bug pertains only to accounts while this one is more concerned with reordering the folders within individual accounts and in the other folder views.

*Whatever*; then it's a dupe of 340322.

As you might have noticed by the age of bug 61078, the idea of sorting these things isn't exactly a high priority on the list of anyone who actually knows how to make these changes.
