When I try to delete one message, everything works fine. But I have "Mail sever hostname is not an IMAP4 mail server" message when trying to delete many messages one after another.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Trash mail folder with many removed messages.
2. Select first message and push delete button.
3. Don't release delete button and you will have the message.

wfm I held the delete button for a while.
couple of things: how long are you holding the delete button down for? it could be that you are just overloading the imap connections and is rejecting further connections from your client.
I was deleting over couple of hundred msgs in my trash folder because of me holding the button down.

"Mail sever hostname is not an IMAP4 mail server" does't say anything about rejected connection. Maybe thunderbird shows wrong message..

Reporter, does the issue still occur in the latest supported 2.0.0.x / Shredder trunk nightlies?

(1.5.0.x is now end-of-life and the latest supported 2.0.0.x is now
