User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; sv-SE; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20061204 Firefox/2.0.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; sv-SE; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20061204 Firefox/2.0.0.1 This doesnt happends always. But often. Especially on PHP forums such as phpBB. When i post a reply, FireFox somethimes ask me if i wants to open or download the php-file. If i clicks cancel, the website will work fully and my reply will be posted. (This happends when i acces a PHP file with a POST command) Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Enter a PHP forum (phpBB is recommended) 2. Post a reply 3. Then, here is the bug. Actual Results: FireFox asked me if i wanted to open or download the php file. Expected Results: Post my reply, (wich it still does) and go on to the next page instead of downloading the file. There has been no crash, so i don't have any TalkBack ID. I uses the swedish version. And there can be some problems with my firewall & router wich does this as a safty procedure. The place where i finds this bug the most is http://www.phpportalen.net
Please test in Firefox's safe mode <http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode>, and let us know whether or not that clears it up - there are several extensions that cause that sort of thing (IETab leaps to mind).
Looks like I have the same issue, trying to login to a demo: http://xrms.sourceforge.net/pagebuilder.php?s1=11
And what happened when you tested in Firefox's safe mode?
Summary: FireFox wants to download PHP files that uses a POST command. → Firefox wants to download PHP files that uses a POST command.
The same thing happens in safe mode. I follow the link and the file dialog opens, save file or open with...

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9a5pre) Gecko/20070430 Minefield/3.0a5pre ID:0000000000 [cairo] Adblock Plus 0.7.2.4 DOM Inspector 1.9a5pre Flashblock 1.5.3 Nightly Tester Tools 1.2.1 I had this a few days ago when I checked an old (Excite) webmail account. Clicking on the [Empty] Bulk Mail tag would ask to download the php cancel wouldn't do anything except cancel. Definitely intermittent. Tryiing to reproduce it now - nop luck.
I just updated to 2.0.0.4 and still see the problem. From the Sourceforge URL I posted previously, I click on the "sourceforge demo" link, and it still happens. This has been consistent for the last couple of releases. Full version info: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20070603 Firefox/2.0.0.4
