Funny enough, I just posted a similar comment in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=35923, saying: I've been thinking of a 'message history' that would provide info like: [Date/Time stamp] Message received using account [account name] [Date/Time stamp] Matched filter [Filter Name], Label [Some Label] assigned [Date/Time stamp] Matched filter [Filter Name], transferred to mailbox [Mailbox name] [Date/Time stamp] Message viewed [Date/Time stamp] Message forwarded to [Address] [Date/Time stamp] Message marked unread [Date/Time stamp] Message viewed [Date/Time stamp] Message transferred to [Mailbox Name] etc...

To avoid opening a duplicate, is it possible to have a history also for the latest opened e-mails? Example: 1) I search for an e-mail, it takes me a while to find the good one (through thousands) 2) I open and read it in a new tab 3) I close it 4) Later on, I come again to it by way of searching since I forgot something 5) I've to repeat all the process In order to avoid this, we can have a panel dedicated to history of latest opened e-mails, (i.e. 10) so I can easily go to the message I recently viewed. What're your thoughts on this? Do we need a separate ticket?
