User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.2pre) Gecko/20070111 SeaMonkey/1.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.2pre) Gecko/20070111 SeaMonkey/1.1

I had Seamonkey 1.04 installed earlier.

I uninstalled it. Installed 1.1

Seamonkey starts. No problems.

Randomly (70% of time), unable to open new window through the icon @ the trayicon or quicklaunch. However, opening a new window from file->new->window works fine. Also unable to launch mail client from seamoneky icon @ the windows tray icon

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start seamonkey
2.Launch a new window from double clicking trayicon or clicking quicklaunch icon
3.
Actual Results:
New window does not load.

Expected Results:
A new window to open.

May or maynot be related, sometimes when i exit seamonkey (right click tray icon exit), then i start seamonkey again, the tray icon does not appear. I have to goto edit->perferences->advanced->keep seamonkey in memory->okay for the trayicon to reappear.
I have exactly the same problem.

After a fresh installation of Seamonkey 1.1 everything works fine as expected.
When I close all windows and open a new one, I can not open any further windows by clicking on the quicklaunch or systray icon.
This is always reproducable, a very annoying bug.

I also noticed that when closing all seamonkey windows, the systray icon does not blink anymore. Up to Seamonkey 1.0.7, it disappeared for a moment.

I am running Windows 2000 SP4, all updates installed.

I forgot to say, I also tried creating a new profile as I thought this bug may be caused by some extension I have installed. The problem persists, though.
I am having a simmilar/same problem

I'm using firefox on my mac osX 10.4.8

I've noticed this bug for a while, and updated several times but it's still there so I decided to report it:

When i try to open a new browser window while another browser window is minimized via file:new window or (APPLE-N) no window opens, and the file menu stays highlighted. if i maximize the other windows first, then open a new window, then minimize the others it works.

this is really annoying if you are trying to keep an open window for webmail or you are waiting to get a last minute ebay bid in or whatever, but want to do other things in the meantime

William, Ole,

Can you reproduce with SeaMonkey v1.1.9 ?

Please file a separate report for Firefox.
