Two ideas come to mind: - Use hover tooltips for each item (these could also be re-used in the Options pane). - Add a "Documentation" or "More about this" menu item when right-clicking an option. This could link to http://kb.mozillazine.org/%s, where %s is the name of the option. Reproducible: Always

benc: please do not set yourself as the QA contact of bugs that you have a passing interest in - if someone wrongly decides to open an old stale bug, we want the QA people who are watching the default contact for the component at that time to know about it, not to have someone who may well be long gone know about it only if they happen to still be reading bugmail.
