Twice Thunderbird has lost all my mail (inbox, sent, etc.) and address books.
When I open the program I have to reconfigure all the server settings as though I just completed a fresh install. After completing that process and opening Thunderbird I am treated to a NEW account.
I'm tempted to quote your "bad" example - for me to continue using the program I need it fixed.

No information in the year since last comments was posted, resolving incomplete.
