User-Agent: Opera/9.10 (Windows NT 5.1; U; en) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20061204 Firefox/2.0.0.1 Intermittent momentary hangs or pauses lasting up to ten seconds -- every 20 seconds or so. CPU usage peaking at approx 30% while this occurs. Invariably a few seconds after page load completes. Affects window scrolling, typing, selecting objects with mouse, clicks, closing navigating, and opening browser windows & tabs. Reverting to Firefox Version 1.5 resolves issue. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open a long page 2. grab verticle scroll bar draghandle and drag up & down for a few seconds until... 3. Scrollbar, window, handle (Everything Firefox) pauses while cursor continues to move. Actual Results: Everything Firefox pauses for up to 10 seconds at a time. Expected Results: Normal behavior of windows, scrollbars, text entry etc. Add-ons removed, cache cleared, default settings, uninstalled and reinstalled... no dice. Seems to get worse with additional windows and tabs, but it's made Firefox 2 unusable even with only one window/tab in use.
still see this problem when using FF 3.5 beta (or 3.0?) http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html
