Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.2pre) Gecko/20070111 SeaMonkey/1.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.2pre) Gecko/20070111 SeaMonkey/1.1 This never happened to me until I upgraded from SeaMonkey 1.0.4 to 1.1 I can still open a new window by focusing an existing window and then hitting Ctrl+N. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Mozilla and browse around a while. 2. Double-click on a shortcut icon (such as on desktop or quicklaunch) or the SysTray icon to open another Mozilla window. 3. Marvel as nothing happens. Expected Results: A new, blank window used to open (albeit of the same instance). I suspected the problem might have been one of the extensions I had running, so I deleted the Mozilla program directory and my profiles directory and then reinstalled from scratch only the app with no add-ons. But no fix.
Reverting back to 1.0.7 has fixed the problem. This problem sounds similar to bug# 361225, and exactly the same as # 367797. (Sorry I couldn't find those the 1st time I searched.) As mentioned in 367797, it didn't happen always, but more often than not.
