36956 - Delete does not work

Linux (2000-04-24-09 M16)
Steps:
1. Launch Messenger using the -mail option
2. From the Inbox, select a message, Click on Delete
Actual result: Nothing happens, message does not get deleted
Expected result: message should be deleted.

This occurs in both POP and IMAP

Mac and win32 build not available yet.

I was just able to delete two messages with IMAP using linux rh6.0
2000-04-24-09m16 commercial build. My IMAP delete pref is set to Move To Trash
and the two messages which I deleted do indeed appear in the trash folder after
their removal from the Inbox.

The trick, I believe, is that the Delete button now requires a second click to
work.  Context menu item works first selection.

There is a bug logged for buttons needing two clicks:  bug #36923
