If you paste any text from openoffice (I have v2.1) into the Thunderbird mail composer, having pasted the text, the cursor jumps to the first line of the mail message being composed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Copy text from openoffice
2.Paste into mail compose window
3.Watch the cursor jump to the first line
Actual Results:  
Cursor jumps to the first line

Expected Results:  
Cursor should be located immediately after what was pasted.

Reporter, does this issue still occur in the latest supported 2.0.0.x / Shredder trunk nightlies?

(1.5.0.x is now end-of-life and the latest supported 2.0.0.x is now 2.0.0.17)
